Is it my imagination or are relationships in which there is a generation gap, say more than ten years, more prevelant in the gay community than in the straight community? If so, what may be the reason for this? Could it be that older gay men are not tied into a marriage and so can indulge the male predisposition to form an attachement to a younger person, and younger men combine lover and father figure in one; a form of relationship efficiency!
or perhaps the older partners "seemingly" financial security, most younger men in a "age-gap" relationship feel secure with the knowledge that the partner is more wiser and financially secure.
